The Inspiration
Who is Lola?
Lola is the baby girl behind the business name, and my daughter. When I became a mother to little Lola my whole world changed – along with my needs. If I concentrate hard enough I can still physically feel the sleepless nights, missed meals, lonely days, deep frustrations and tiny heartbreaks in my body. That time was so unbelievably fulfilling, but so exhausting, and left me neglecting super important practices like taking care of myself.
After discussing this period with other mothers around me, I noticed something: there wasn’t really a clear community where new mums could feel genuinely supported and cared for and be surrounded by other mums in exactly the same boat.
I wanted a solution that would genuinely help my friends and give them the chance to be spoiled and supported by their family, friends or even for themselves, via genuinely good selfcare products designed with mums in mind.
When I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I decided to fill the gap myself and build a business that could do this for mums. That’s why I created Love by Lola, so it could be that destination of care and be there for mothers who felt just like I did, and mums who deserve so much more care, love and appreciation.
