I've been exactly where you are, so in love with this beautiful little bundle of joy and at the same time feeling so, so deep in the trenches.
When I had Lola, I soon found myself amid burnout after giving everything to motherhood and not giving very much to myself.
I needed more support, a community, a safe place to ask questions and any opportunity for self-care. And if we’re honest - not everyone wins the local motherhood lottery!
Once I realised that this was not going to be sustainable, I started to take action and actually fill up my cup; I became so determined to help other mums avoid the feelings I had experienced and let them know there was another way, there was just nothing available that I could find to help them in the way I wanted.
So you know what's next if you can't find it, create it! So I did, and that's how Love by Lola began.
